A unique twist on pizza featuring creamy burrata, crunchy pistachios, and garlic oil, all encapsulated in a warm, pillowy crust.

- 1/2 pound pizza crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 6 large cloves garlic, minced or grated
- 1 teaspoon fine kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons garlic olive oil for pizza
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 3 tablespoons pistachios, toasted and chopped
- 8–10 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Grate garlic into olive oil.
- Add pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, and oregano into the garlic olive oil mixture.
- Preheat oven to 500°F.
- Shape pizza dough to desired thickness and transfer to a pizza pan.
- Bake for 4-5 minutes until crust begins to puff.
- Spread garlic olive oil over the dough and top with parmesan.
- Break burrata into chunks and distribute over the pizza.
- Sprinkle pistachios on top.
- Return to oven for 6-8 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden.
- Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for a lightly browned finish.
- Allow to cool, then add fresh basil and a drizzle of garlic olive oil before serving.
Notes
Ensure to pre-bake the crust enough to avoid a soggy base. Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.
