  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the casserole: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble in baking dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Top with cheese: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  7. Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
