Description

A quick and comforting dish that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with flaky biscuits, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the biscuit dough package instructions.
  2. Cook the ground beef and chopped onions in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat and reduce heat to low. Stir in pickles, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Roll out biscuit dough on a floured surface and cut into squares or circles.
  5. Spoon a portion of the beef mixture onto each biscuit piece, then top with shredded cheese.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching edges to seal.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

Avoid overworking the dough to keep biscuits fluffy. Consider adding garlic powder for extra flavor.
