Description

A hearty and creamy pasta bake featuring lean ground beef and cottage cheese, topped with bubbling mozzarella.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, cottage cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture and stir until well mixed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes
