Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium potato (mashed)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked lentils, grated carrots, chopped onion, mashed potato, and minced garlic in a mixing bowl until the mixture is uniform with no dry spots.
  2. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties, pressing them firmly to ensure they hold their shape as they cook.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  5. Fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil before serving.
