Description

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 45 Yukon Gold Potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Cheese (Gruyère recommended)
  • 1 cup Cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté the onion until soft and translucent.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle sautéed onions on top of the potatoes.
  5. Mix cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl and pour over the potatoes.
  6. Top with cheese, making sure to cover evenly.
  7. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes until tender and golden.
