Ingredients

  • 2 cups Egg Noodles
  • 1 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add the ground beef and brown until fully cooked.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the beef and stir to create a roux.
  4. Slowly pour in the chicken broth while stirring constantly.
  5. Add the milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and keep stirring.
  7. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce is creamy.
  8. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  9. Drain the noodles and set aside.
  10. Fold in the sour cream into the sauce and let it warm through.
  11. Combine the cooked noodles with the stroganoff sauce.
