Ingredients
- 2 to 2.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 (1-ounce) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- 1. Place chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ranch seasoning mix, condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until well combined and smooth.
- 3. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
- 4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- 5. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks, or remove to a cutting board and shred. Stir shredded chicken back into the sauce.
Notes
Allow cooked chicken to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat gently on stovetop or in microwave, adding a splash of milk or broth if sauce is too thick.
