- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces pasta (such as penne or rotini)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped onions and bell peppers for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Combine the cooked pasta, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese and any optional chopped vegetables.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is golden.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the pasta and ensure you brown the beef properly for depth of flavor.
