Description

A satisfying casserole made with seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions and bell peppers for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta, browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the shredded cheese in a mixing bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining cheese and any optional chopped vegetables.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is golden.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the pasta and ensure you brown the beef properly for depth of flavor.
