- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Add 1 cup of macaroni and cook until al dente, about 6-8 minutes.
- Drain the macaroni and return it to the saucepan over low heat.
