Description

Delicious homemade chocolate peanut butter protein bars made with oats, maple syrup, and dark chocolate, perfect for a quick snack or packed lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup brown rice crisp cereal
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine rolled oats and brown rice crisp cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt dark chocolate chips and maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat mixture and stir until evenly mixed.
  5. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, and spread the mixture evenly, pressing down firmly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.

Notes

Ensure to firmly press the mixture into the pan to avoid crumbly bars. Keep them sealed to maintain their texture.
