Description

Easy and incredibly flavorful Savory Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes, made with just a few pantry staples. The slow cooker does all the work for tender, delicious potatoes every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2.5 pounds potatoes, cut into 11.5 inch pieces
  • 1 (1-ounce) envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water or chicken broth (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash potatoes thoroughly and cut them into uniform, bite-sized pieces (about 1-1.5 inches).
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes with the Lipton onion soup mix. Toss until well coated.
  3. 3. Pour the melted butter over the potato and soup mix. Toss again to ensure each piece is coated. If using, stir in the water or chicken broth.
  4. 4. Transfer the mixture to your slow cooker.
  5. 5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender.
  6. 6. Stir gently. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
