Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker, ensuring an even base for cooking.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Add the egg noodles and frozen peas in the last 30 minutes.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks before serving, stirring everything together.
