Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 8 small taco-sized tortillas
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until it’s hot enough that a drop of water sizzles upon contact.
- Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Form the beef into small patties that are about the size of the tortillas.
- Place the patties on the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula until evenly flattened. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Warm the tortillas in another pan until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a patty on each tortilla and adding your desired toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Ensure your skillet is adequately preheated for the best sear, and consider using taco seasoning for a different flavor profile.
