Description

A delightful treat that transforms ordinary oatmeal into a comforting dessert featuring strawberries and a creamy cheesecake-like base.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish well to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking powder, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth.
  4. Stir the cream cheese mixture into the oat mixture until combined, making sure there are no lumps.
  5. Fold in the sliced strawberries gently to avoid breaking them up too much.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until set and lightly golden on top. It should feel firm to the touch when done.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving, allowing it to set further for easier slicing.

Notes

Start with room temperature cream cheese for a smooth blend. Fold in strawberries gently to maintain their shape. Allow cooling time for better slicing.
