Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and drain excess fat.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread the cooked ground beef over the potatoes, followed by half of the cream of mushroom soup.
  5. Add another layer of remaining potatoes, then top with the remaining soup.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
